Traditionen tro gik Flagdagens optog gennem gågaden til rådhuset i Tønder denne formiddag.
Det skete igen i samarbejde med forsvarsbroderselskaberne i Bredebro, Løgumkloster og Tønder samt kommunes soldaterforeninger.
Marieskolens yngste deltog også i marchen.
Der var taler ved borgmester Jørgen Popp Petersen, kredsformand Henrik Willerslev, Forsvarsbrødrene og folketingsmedlem Anni Matthiesen.
