I 2022 afholdes den 12. kniplings-festival i Tønder. Byen vil atter være klar til at tage imod mange kniple-entusiaster fra hele verden.
– Der kommer stadig nye materialer, mønstre og ideer til udførelsen af kniplinger, som vi alle glæder os til at afprøve, lyder det fra formanden for Tønder Kniplings Festival, Lene Holm Hansen.
Ved kniplings-festivalen er også rig mulighed for se og købe materialer til disse ting. Desuden er der rig mulighed for at træffe både nye og gamle bekendte, som deler vores egen interesse for kniplinger
– Emnet for festivalen i 2022 vil være båndkniplinger. Båndkniplinger er hovedsagligt kendt i den østlige del af Eropa. Båndkniplingerne er en mangfoldighed af lette og elegante former med forskellige fyldninger, der danner mange flotte mønstre på trods af, der kun arbejdes med ganske få par.
Ved Kniplings-festivalen 2022 vil der være mulighed for at se adskillige udstillinger og for at besøge de mange stande fra flere lande. Under Kniplings-festivalen er der mulighed for at deltage i foredrag, workshop m.m.
Fredag og lørdag afholdes fællesarrangementer med underholdning.
Søndag er der en udflugt i området omkring Tønder.
I forbindelse med festivalen afholdes et kursus i Tønderknipling, ligesom der tilbydes andre kurser i forbindelse med festivalen.
Lace-Festival in Tønder – Friday 3rd June – Sunday 5th June 2022
In 2022 the 12th lace festival will be held in Tønder. Once again, the city will be ready to meet lace enthusiasts from all over the world. New materials, patterns, and ideas for designing the laces keep arriving and we all look forward to trying them out. At the lace festival, there will also be plenty of possibilities to see and buy materials for these things. Furthermore, there is a great chance to meet both new and old acquaintances that share the interest in laces.
The topic of the festival will be tape lace, which are mainly known in the Eastern part of Europe. The ribbon laces are a variety of light and elegant shapes with different fillings that mould many beautiful patterns in spite of the work only exist of quite a few couples.
At the lace festival 2022, there will be multiple displays and you can visit many stands from several countries. You can also participate in lectures, workshops and more. Both Friday and Saturday entertaining arrangements will be held, and Sunday there will be a trip in the area around Tønder. In connection with the festival, there will be held a course in Tønder Laces along with other courses.
